I am not a weight lifter, I am a bed-bound writer. I assembled this plate tree excluding the horns. I then inverted it, bolted it to two oak planks, placed 5 feet of 1.5 galvanized pipe in the bar holder tube, covered that with white PVC, and hung the whole unit from the ceiling centered over my bed. I then attached an articulated monitor arm to the galvanized pipe, attached a 20 inch LCD monitor, and am now able to write with a wholly adjustable monitor that reaches any point over my bed whatever position I am in. It is the well designed, with graceful lines, with cool burnished steel and velvet black supports, powerfully built Cap Barbell Olympic Plate Rack with Bar Holder that made this installation possible. I absolutely recommend this unit in the very highest terms. I'm sure it has many more uses yet to be discovered.
