This has been the ideal cooking utensil. At first I was afraid the lid handle would be hot from sitting over the cooking food, but this is not the case. Even being a metal handle, there has been no heat transfer! For someone looking for a high quality, electric skillet, I would very much recommend this. It has a nice, deep basin to meet all our cooking needs, from items like chicken, to large quantity foods like spaghetti sauce.
