VG-2 Undetectable: Immune to the VG-2 detector, the XTR 185 provides alerts when VG-2 is in use.
POP mode detection: Older radar guns release a continual stream of energy to acquire a vehicle's speed. Newer units use POP mode, which transmits only short bursts at the target. A radar detector that lacks POP mode detection will leave you vulnerable.
Safety warning system: SWS® technology alerts you to approaching road hazards or special traffic conditions emitted by many highway crews and emergency vehicles.
