This is a good solid iron. It doesn't produce steam quite as fast as the last iron, same model as this one, but it's still a very good product. After a couple of expensive, poorly-functioning modern-style irons, I went back to this Black and Decker like the one my mother used! I like the weight -- gives a good edge on hems.
