Product Description:

The famous “sad face” pedal cars of the late 1940’s and early 1950’s inspired our pedal sedan. It was nick-named “sad face” because of it’s front end, similar to a 1949 Oldsmobile, a 1949 Packard or a 1949 Buick, looks like an “up-side-down” smile. Our vehicle is trimmed with a chrome windshield, chrome steering wheel, chrome hubcaps and a chrome hood ornament. As with all of our vehicles, it is made out of heavy gauge steel just like the original pedal cars of the forties. We make the sedan in various colors. Recommended for children ages 2 to 6 years old.

OVERALL DIMENSIONS: Length 36.00”, width of body 15.50”
MATERIALS: Heavy gauge steel in body and undergear, solid rubber tires
WHEELS: Ball bearing, steel, 8” with 5/8” rubber tires
FINISH: Body and undergear are done in a lead free, child safe powder coating
INSIGNIAS: lead free paint and vinyl
DRIVING MECHANISM: Ball bearing pull rods, ball bearing rear axle hangers

I previously purchased (about 2.5 years ago) the Red Jalopy for my granddaughter. Now I have a new grandson whose father is a police officer in a neighboring township. Even though my grandson is only 2 months old, what better gift to give him but this beautiful Police car sedan. Now he can play-follow in his father's footsteps and have a ball doing it (when he is a little bigger of course). The car is of the same great quality of the red jalopy and I am very pleased with it. I set the two cars side by side and looked them over carefully trying to see anything that might be able to hurt the kids and found nothing. All edges are rolled neatly. Bump zones are minimized with plenty of room for little knees.
