The Kitty Walk Deck and Patio is well made and easy to put together. On quality of materials this item rates a 5. I give it only 2 stars however because my "kitty" will not go anywhere near it. I followed advice found on the site and left the unit out for my cat to explore on his own; then I assembled it indoors again hoping he would come to it gradually and he did not. Eventually I dropped some catnip inside and only then did he take my "bait." After 4 weeks I moved it onto the balcony and gave him his first real test and he did not do well. Once inside with the door closed all he could do was press his face against the mesh and try with all his might to escape. It was pathetic to watch and after a five minutes of this I released him into the house and the kitty walk remains inside, unused and I feel it was not a good investment for me.
