This works well for my dog. I do like that you can set this feeder for any amount of time, though -- most feeders are just 8, 16, or 24 hours. I had to place it on a plastic mat and put it in a tight space so that my dog couldn't flip it over -- it's very lightweight. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

This feeder works well and it has a dial on the bottom to speed up or slow down the clock so that it opens when you want it to. It has worked great! The only thing I like better about the 'Cat Mate Automatic Feeders' is that they come with a plastic ice pack to put in the bottom under the bowls to keep the food fresh longer.

I got this cat feeder for occasions when I can't feed the kitties their dinner on time. I like that the food containers can easily be washed in the dishwasher. My hungry cats had no problem figuring out that this little device is an occasional source of food.

If you need a very basic pet feeder then this thing is for you. I needed something to feed my puppy lunch while I was at work. For my purpose this works fine. You can take the battery out without losing any data since there is nothing to program. It provides enough security to keep my puppy out, but I don't think she is trying very hard to break into the thing like hear some cats do. I was able to drill holes through the base and screw in bolts for legs (I then put it in a moat).

I found it simple, uncomplicated, reliable and easily cleaned compared to other feeders I have tried. My cat does not mind the ticking of the internal clock and she is a real scaredy cat. The location of the battery is inconvenient, but not a big deal to work around. It could use a blue ice pack in the well for keeping wet food cold, but I just freeze her food and is defrosted by the time she eats it. Because of these things, it isn't perfect, but compared with what I've seen available on the market--I'd buy it again.
