This is an exceptionally well made product. This cot should be around long after I am gone.

Only used the cots on one trip so far but they worked adequately and we are both big guys (between 230 and 260lbs). The best feature is the Velcro straps on one end that allow you to put it together much easier. Other cots take a two men and a boy to pull the second end brace into place. With this you just undo the Velcro and wrap it around the end brace. It remains to be seen if the Velcro will hold up but it seems heavy duty and did not slip at all with full body weight on it. The 5 straps run perpendicular to the brace and the manufacturer did not skimp on length. I think this will hold up well and is a good design rather than running one strip of Velcro parallel to the brace. One thing I found was the stated weight of 10lbs was wrong. They weight is closer to 14lbs but that isn't anymore than other cots I have had and much less than the old wooden ones or the over sized ones which are in the 18 to 22lbs range. Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase!
