This is a very good vacuum. It is the top rated one in Consumers Reports which is why we chose that one. It puts the more expensive vacuum that it replaced to shame.

This machine has tons of suction! The self propelled feature works great. Tools are nice also, as long as you don't stretch the hose too far. The machine will tip over if you do that. I also discovered a trick to making the tools and pipes stay together while you use them, when you attach them, give them a little twist. It will make the pipes fit together a little tighter so they won't fall off. All in all this is a great vacuum. I gave it 4 stars because it can be a bit cumbersome and heavy if you have to carry it up and down a few stairs. If you have stairs, I would stay away from this model.
