I received the camping tablebar in time to use on my first camping trip. The bar is made of heavy duty shock-corded poles so they can handle lanterns, etc. It was also easy to set up and comes with a storage bag. It definitely fits on a 8 foot table as advertised. My only disappointment is that it will only adjust down to approximately a 7 foot length. This means I won't be able to use it at camps that have smaller tables.
