Don't boil while the coffee is in it. It is the best press I have ever used.

I purchased this coffee maker even though reviews of an earlier model said it makes great coffee but it begins to leak after a while. So far, I have not had any problems with it, and it does make great coffee. The only warning I would make is that it is awkward to clean because it can't be submerged in water. There is a small opening in the handle that contains the shut-off mechanism that I am afraid of getting water into, but it is hard to avoid.
