It worked great!

I was surprised at how light the stock pot and fry pan were, but they heated up fast over an open fire on a rainy night. I would not go with a smaller fry pan, its big enough for a large meal, or cooking two or three items all at once. And there was no aluminum taste or Teflon or enamel to flake off.
