I purchased the Levels of Discovery Time to Read Revolving Bookcase as a Christmas gift for my 4 year old Grandson. I was a bit apprehensive since I'd only seen the item in a small picture on the internet and I was not familiar with the brand. When the item arrived I was pleased to see how well it was packed. We took it out of the box, assembled the two pieces on top, and inspected it closely. I was more than pleased, I was completely thrilled with it. The quality of this piece was beyond my expectations with apparent attention to detail at every step. It is exceptionally well built, beautifully finished, and looks adorable! The unit is sturdy and stable which eliminates concerns about it tipping over. The revolving mechanism works smoothly and is protected from possibly prying hands, the finish is perfect with no paint drips or missed areas and there are no rough areas to snag clothing or threaten splinters to young hands. Every aspect of this piece (construction, stability, safety, finish, appearance, etc.) rates 5 stars. I most definitely recommend Levels of Discovery brand products, and would certainly purchase from them again.
