We love this golf cart carrier, and so does our little 6 lb toy poodle! One driver can now take all 3 of our poodles on the cart with no problems. The double-close metal clasp is especially safe. The BLACK SAFETY STRAP SHOULD BE A FEW INCHES SHORTER, to keep the dog inside the carrier. (I've got it as small as it can be adjusted, but the dog can still get over the edge of the carrier. Luckily she wears a chest harness)! I now also hold the end of our poodle's leash, draped over the front seat of the cart, so that she cannot jump over the side of the carrier.
