We ordered in winter (not the best time for a picnic!), but I put together a livin room picnic for my wife; complete with fried chicken, potato salad, etc.
We believe this item will ABSOLUTELY make for an enjoyable picnic experience. I carried the basket around (which makes your containers lay sideways so pack accordingly with liquids) and nothing spilled. The place setting area in the lid provides EVERYTHING needed.
With proper preparation, we will enjoy beaches, parks, roadsides, etc. with this item. VERY well made and organized!
